Great little Steak

Picanha is a cut of beef first made popular in Brazil, and later adopted in Portugal.
We lived in Brazil for 12 years. One of the cuts of beef we loved there was called Picanha, In the United States, the cut is little known and often named top sirloin cap, rump cover, rump cap, or COULOTTE. We love this little steak from Agridime . We sear it on our grill over high heat, with Mesquite chunks. This leaves the center rare. We serve it with grilled pineapple, and grilled Coalho cheese just like we were in Brazil!
It is absolutely delicious and tender!
Try it you won’t be disappointed.

Very nice steak!

We’ve had several of now, and they have all been nicely marbled, tender, and juicy. Great on the grill!
