Want to make your Ham like us? Here's how we cooked our Pineapple Glazed Ham!

Ingredients:

  • Agridime Hickory Smoke Fully Cooked Ham
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven: Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).

  2. Prepare the ham: Place the ham in a roasting pan, fat side up.

  3. Score the ham: Use a sharp knife to score the surface of the ham in a crisscross pattern.

  4. Cover and bake: Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil or a lid. Place the ham in the preheated oven.

  5. Bake the ham: Heat the ham for about 10-12 minutes per pound. For a pre-cooked ham, this typically takes around 1.5 to 2.5 hours (depending on the size.)

  6. Make the glaze: In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar and pineapple juice. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly. This is your glaze.

  7. Uncover and baste: During the last 30 minutes of baking, uncover the ham and baste it with the glaze. Brush it generously over the scored ham to coat it evenly.

  8. Check the temperature: To ensure your ham is ready, use a meat thermometer. The internal temperature should reach 140°F (60°C).

  9. Rest and serve: Once done, remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, keeping the ham moist.

  10. Slice and enjoy: Carve the ham into slices and serve.
